The Sullivan County Historical and Genealogical
Society publishes a semiannual publication in
the Spring and Fall of each year. The publication
is known as the SCHGS Journal, and each issue
of the publication contains approximately 80 to 100
pages of power-packed historical and genealogical
information. Geographical areas covered include Sullivan
County and surrounding areas of East Tennessee and
Southwest Virginia.
The SCGS Journal may be obtained by sending
a $20 annual membership fee to SCGS, P.O. Box 568,
Blountville/TN 37617. The Journals will be sent to
each SCGS member via U.S. mail upon publication in
the Spring and Fall of each year. If you join in the
middle of the year, you will still receive both the
Spring and Fall issues.
